Scuola Leonardo da Vinci: A Green Pass to Travel to Italy this Summer

Scuola Leonardo Green Pass

Traveling in Italy this summer will be simple and safe! To move around the country, the "Green Pass" will be enough. It will be possible to travel from one region to another and reach all the schools of the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci group: our schools in Florence, Milan, Rome, Turin and Viareggio all are open for on-site courses.

How does the "Green Pass" work?

It is the certificate attesting to vaccination, or in case of recovery (both valid for six months). The Green Pass can also be obtained with a molecular or antigenic swab with negative results carried out within 48 hours prior to entry into the country.

At the moment the document is on paper but there is a transition to a digital platform on which the Green Pass will be loaded.

Stop the quarantine

At the moment, an inbound swab, 5-day quarantine and a new swab is required for travellers coming from the European Union and Great Britain. For citizens who come from non-EU countries, only the duration of the quarantine changes, which goes from 5 to 10 days. While from Brazil, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka it is forbidden to enter our country regardless of the reason.

From 15 May, however, quarantine will no longer be required for travelers from the European Union and from some countries where vaccinations have reached a good percentage, such as the United States and Israel.

What are the provisions at school?

The Scuola Leonardo da Vinci’s schools have adopted the “ASILS Scuole Sicure Protocol”, which imposes procedures to counter and prevent the risks of contagion from COVID-19. This protocol, together with government provisions, offers further instructions and suggestions for making schools safe and clean.
